We're the Joyce family.

Chelsea, our Cat Executive Officer and Pawsident of Care, is a lifetime cat-person with over 20 years of experience caring for cats of all needs levels. Born and raised in southern California and having spent her 20's in New York City, Chelsea and Dave relocated to Seattle in 2017 and have loved it here ever since. Chelsea has volunteered at several cat sanctuaries/shelters, fostered cats and kittens, and been lucky enough to cohabitate with 7 cats of her own over the years (2 who lived to be almost 20 years old, including the imitable Tobey our hotel is named after). Chelsea is well versed in caring for nearly every special scenario, from megaesophogus to cancer, hyper to hypothyroid; You can rest assured that she is well prepared to help care for your best friend.

Dave, our Vice Pawsident and Head of Felinecilities, is no stranger to cats himself, and assisted in his step-mom's well known cat sitting and boarding business in Asheville, North Carolina, for years. Born and raised in Asheville, Dave has lived in Wintson-Salem, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington DC, Sydney, and New York City, where he met Chelsea. Together, they moved to Seattle in 2017.

Mavis and Dashel, the Cat Hotel interns, are mainly around to look cute and provide scritches (should your cats be a fans of tiny humans).

When we aren't caring for your cats, our cats, or our tiny humans, we can be found volunteering at KEXP, visiting Thomas Dambo's trolls, and exploring some of Seattle's plethora of gorgeous parks.
